Rooted Strength

Rooted Strength is an original oil pastel drawing that captures the quiet and grounded strength of this creature. I’ve chosen to capture this beautiful animal with earthy tones and sketched out in a bright orange that peaks through the layers. 

This drawing came about as a sort of challenge to myself. I’ve never been confident in drawing animals so this was a test of my skill and patience.
