Retro Poppy

Retro Poppy is an original oil pastel drawing. This piece depicts 3 bold red poppies set against a bold geometric background. The warm earthy colours paired with the geometric shapes gives it that retro style. 

This artwork wasn’t inspired by anything in particular. I remember I was feeling pretty blocked and uninspired so I pulled out my Alphonse Mucha book, took some notes and turned it out in my own style to create this drawing.
