Snow White Study

Snow White Study is an original oil pastel drawing that reimagines that classic fairytale fruit however I’ve drawn it in a warm buttery and welcoming light as opposed to the poison dripping delicacy. The original sketch of the apple and the leaves showing through the background adds character to the expression of the piece. The striped background adds a sense of nostalgia.

This artwork didn’t have a specific inspiration. Although once it was finished it reminded me of a fairytale I really just lead with my intuition and made decisions as the piece developed.

The piece comes framed and ready to hang.
